Considering the true 16 seeds are in the first four


UMBC would have been a 15 seed from 1985-2010 (pre First Four). Not that it makes any less bad (they were overall #1 seed). But I think that is why 15 over 2's have happened more frequently in the last 8 years as compared to 1985-2010 as well.
