For this discussion, I was considering I-581 (around Peters Creek Rd or Hershberger Rd) as a part of "Roanoke." The couple times I was in "Roanoke" in 30 minutes (may have been 32-34 minutes if you want to get technical), I left early enough to hit no traffic in Blacksburg/Christiansburg, managed to time all the lights right, and may (or may not) have been going 5 mph over the speed limit.

Now if we are talking the time it took to me to walk the Cage from my dorm room in WAJ (2nd Floor Washington Street side) to parking at the courthouse, it was closer to 1 hour.
