In some ways, Independence (NC) class of 2026 defensive back Nick Reddish has been prepared for the recruiting attention he’s getting. It wasn’t that long ago that he followed his brother, Virginia Tech freshman safety Quentin Reddish, in his recruitment.

Quentin signed with the Hokies in December as a member of the 2024 class. But Nick went on many of Quentin’s college visits to get to know the coaches and a sense of the recruiting process. Now that he’s in it himself, he’s using much of what he learned.

Nick now sits at 11 scholarship offers, most recently from Southern Cal. And though he’s still early in his own process and has more visits coming, he still listens to advice from his brother.
