Five are now the focus for McDonogh (Md.) four-star wide receiver Jeff Exinor. The door is still cracked for others to join, but barring something unforeseen, his top five are Virginia Tech, Penn State, Michigan State, Syracuse and Maryland.

On April 12, Exinor took the first of his official visits to each of those schools when he visited the Hokies for their spring game. And while he had visited Blacksburg previously, Exinor said the trip set a precedent for his other visits moving forward.

“It’s getting closer, especially with the OVs coming up soon,” he said. “I’ll get a chance to compare. But after my first, I see how it works, and that Virginia Tech visit was perfect. I can’t say anything remotely bad.”
