Darius Gray Gets An Early Start To Recruiting

Darius Gray
Offensive Line, Class of 2026
St. Christopher’s, Richmond
6-3, 290

The spring has been a busy one for St. Christopher’s (Va.) four-star offensive guard Darius Gray. But while he has two seasons left of high school football, he’s pushing his recruitment forward thanks to nearly a dozen visits this spring.

Gray was at Virginia Tech for the Hokies’ spring game and participated in the Charlotte stop of the Rivals Camp Series the next day. Before that, Gray most recently visited Notre Dame, Syracuse, Penn State, Tennessee and Clemson. Then he was at Michigan, with stops at South Carolina and Maryland next. It’s been a lot for Gray to digest, but it’s put him in a better position to work towards a final decision of where he’ll attend and play college football.

“Definitely, I’m not really narrowing schools down, but I’m also trying to make progress,” he said. “I’m not trying to wait ‘til next year to narrow down. I’m going to every school, seeing what I like. Right now, it’s hard, because I want to see everything. As of right now, I’m not trying to lock down any schools. I’m enjoying it, taking my time and being blessed with the opportunities I have.”
