It’s only April 16, but official visits have begun for Virginia Tech. A handful of prospects elected to take their visit this past weekend for the spring game. According to Brent Pry, there were over 150 visitors on hand for the weekend’s festivities, but this article will focus on the four guys who took an official visit.

Personally, this is my favorite time of the recruiting process. According to the 247Sports database, Virginia Tech has “offered” 247 prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. That number will likely rise as evaluations continue. With that many “offers,” it can be hard to know who is a main target and who isn’t, but if a player elects to take an official visit, that means there is strong mutual interest between both parties.

After this past weekend, things will be pretty quiet in terms of official visits, with the next visit period coming between May 30 and June 23. The Hokies hosted two offensive and two defensive players over the weekend, and if you pay close enough attention to recruiting, you may have heard of all four. You’ve heard of one for sure.
