Kyron Drones goes way back with Shedeur Sanders, having trained with the Colorado quarterback in Houston back when they were still budding Texas high school talents in their junior year.
So Drones could only chuckle when he heard Sanders, when commenting the other day about his private school upbringing, say that Texas Class 6A quarterbacks — a group that Drones joined his senior year when he transferred to Shadow Creek High in Pearland — weren’t excelling in their college programs.
