No matter what Iowa Western Community College four-star defensive end Kemari Copeland has done and accomplished over the past six years, he keeps going back to one experience. It’s been what he cites as the biggest motivator in his football career.
On Oct. 21, 2017, Copeland, then a freshman at Kellam High School (Va.), attended his first college football game. He witnessed Virginia Tech thrash North Carolina 59-7.
