Hokies cornerback Dorian Strong and running back Bhayshul Tuten have had plenty of talks with confidants about what their plans are for next season, whether that’s coming back for another year or going to the NFL.
As of Thursday evening, though, neither of those two has come to a decision — at least not one they’re making public yet.
Strong and Tuten said they’ve received feedback from the NFL and have had multiple conversations with Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry and their position coaches. Still, their thought process about whether to go to the next level or return for another season in Blacksburg remains ongoing.
“For me personally, I get all the feedback I can,” said Strong, who intends to make up his mind before the Hokies play Tulane in the Military Bowl on Dec. 27. “Just from the next level. Just guys I trust who are on the college coaching level. Ultimately my family, making sure like I’ve got to be OK with it. I’ve got to live with the decision.
