Hokies’ Brent Pry On Tulane Matchup In Military Bowl: ‘We’ll Have Our Hands Full’

Sunday’s delay in finalizing the last ACC bowls, which placed Virginia Tech in the Military Bowl, didn’t affect Hokies coach Brent Pry all too much.

Between a 9 a.m. staff meeting, a 10:30 practice, a 2:30 p.m. recruiting meeting and a 4 p.m. football team banquet, there wasn’t much time to fret about where the Hokies ended up.

Now that it’s done, you can add another item to his plate for the next couple of weeks: preparing for a Tulane team that’s gone 23-4 the last two years.

“They’re experienced, they have a talented quarterback, they have a great defense,” Pry said. “We’ll have our hands full. It’s a good matchup.”
