There’s not a massive rush. But internally, there is a bit of urgency.

Mount Tabor (NC) safety JaDon Blair is still leaving the door open for new schools to join the 17 scholarship offers he currently claims. But that door is beginning to close, as he trains his focus on a small group of programs that have caught his attention the most.

“It’s coming down real close,” Blair said. “I’m going to have a top list real soon. For the coaches to offer, who want to build a relationship, do it soon. The coaches that have, I’ve learned a lot. In that process, I’ll probably drop a top [list] soon, to commit in the summer. The plan is to graduate early, that’ll make sense, I’ll be locked in, can go on and be great.”
