Five Thoughts The Day After The Hokies’ Loss To NC State

It all comes down to UVa once again.

For the sixth time since 2012, the Hokies need to beat Virginia at the end of the season to keep their bowl hopes alive. They won all five of their previous matchups, clinching bowl eligibility in four of them. (And needed an additional win against Marshall in 2018 to get to six victories.)

Will 2023 follow suit? I’ll address that in a bit, but first, here are five thoughts the day after the Hokies’ disappointing loss to NC State:

1. NC State’s coaches put on a clinic compared to Tech’s.
