Right now, Greater Latrobe (Pa.) 2025 linebacker Alex Tatsch is in the discovery phase of his recruitment. He’s now at nine scholarship offers after recent additions from Wisconsin, Duke, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.

Tatsch is still trying to get an understanding of not only the recruiting process, but the downsides and benefits to each program that’s reached out. There’s been a few visits, but he’s also trying to figure out where he goes from here as his junior season winds down.

Virginia Tech offered Tatsch a scholarship on Oct. 2. He’s yet to visit Blacksburg, but said he’s intrigued with what he’s heard.
