The college recruiting landscape is a bit familiar for Calvert Hall (Md.) 2025 tight end JT Taggart. After all, he’s been around college football most of his life.
Taggart’s father, Willie Taggart, was the head coach at Western Kentucky, South Florida, Oregon, Florida State and Florida Atlantic. He’s now the running backs coach for the Baltimore Ravens.
But that experience has given the younger Taggart plenty of perspective. He has a better idea than many of what he should look at in his own recruitment. And though he’s still months away from any decision, he has a good feel for a few schools, with more visits still to come.
