The visit itself was cut short. Due to thunderstorms in southwest Virginia on Saturday, Virginia Tech’s game against Purdue was delayed nearly six hours.
Nearly all of the recruits on hand, including Mount Tabor (NC) four-star safety JaDon Blair, did not stay at Lane Stadium for the conclusion of the game. Still, it was enough for Blair to get a good look at the Hokies.
Blair now claims 16 scholarship offers, most recently from LSU, Florida State and East Carolina. Virginia Tech was one of a handful of gameday visits he has this month. While Blair said he’s making progress in his recruitment, he still has plenty of distance to cover before a decision....
