How long did Saturday’s Virginia Tech-Purdue game take to finish with all the weather delays? 

Miami-Texas A&M was supposed to kick off three and a half hours later, had a weather delay of its own and still finished close to an hour before the Boilermakers finished off the Hokies 24-17 in Lane Stadium.

That is a long day, one made worse by the final outcome, a seven-point loss that left Virginia Tech with more questions about its offense than answers
