Among the wide-ranging answers Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen gave during Tuesday’s media day in Blacksburg was his feelings about the possibility of playing two quarterbacks.
In sum, he’d prefer not to.
“I’ve certainly been a part of playing two quarterbacks in different packages,” Bowen said, “but I think you’re always trying to trend toward finding a guy that can take over the helm from a leadership standpoint from what you’re trying to build the offense around.”
The same could be said of the Hokies’ offensive coaching room.
