On May 25, St. Frances (Md.) four-star running back DeJuan Williams made another step in his recruitment. He released a top eight of Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, Maryland, Boston College, Oregon, Stanford, Pittsburgh and Syracuse.

But Williams could still have a lot of work to do before his recruitment is done. He’s only visited three of that top list: Maryland, Boston College and Oregon. Williams has official visits set to the first two of those three, but said he hopes to see more of the schools in his top list. Still, he admits some schools are higher up on that list.

“I’m kind of warm at making my decision,” Williams said. “I’ve got a couple of schools that I feel like are really family. A commitment will definitely come up soon. I’m pushing for July, maybe the beginning of August. But I’m getting real close. After I make my official visits, I feel like I’ll decide after that.”
