I wrapped up the spring with a projection of the Hokies’ offensive depth chart on Tuesday. Now it’s time to do the defense and special teams.

(Editor’s note from CC: How Virginia Tech lists players’ eligibility on their online roster doesn’t necessarily match up with reality. For example, the Hokies list Grant Wells as a redshirt senior, which is technically accurate, but he’s got two years of eligibility remaining. Same for Da’Quan Felton, and others. For Andy’s articles this week, I’ll list each player how Virginia Tech lists him, but for my articles later in the week I’ll specify exactly how many years each player has remaining, and I’ll create a special page on the site where that information is available as a resource for future reference.)
