Mike Young

Last time you played Miami, they had 92 points on you, shot 58% from the field. What is kind of the defensive emphasis for improvement this time around?

I think it’s safe to say it’ll be different than it was down there. That one didn’t work out very well. We’ll have to guard better, you’re not going to outscore them. I don’t know that anybody in our league is going to outscore them, we’ve got to guard them much better than we did in Coral Gables.

You led the game with about eight minutes to go. What did you feel you did pretty well in that game?

I watched it a couple of times. We tied it at 3:45. We were up with six-and-a-half to play. As good as they are… They’re really active and aggressive defensively which turns people over. You turn Wake Forest over 19 times and Tyree Appleby 12 times, you’re in a bind. And we all know how good, I know how good, Wake Forest is and how good Appleby is. So, they thrive on that part of it.
