The list of scholarship offers for Grimsley (NC) four-star wide receiver Alex Taylor has reached 20. Last Wednesday, as his class of 2023 peers mostly concluded their recruiting cycles on National Signing Day, Taylor narrowed his own focus.

Taylor, No. 218 in the 2024 Rivals250, announced a final seven of Virginia Tech, Clemson, North Carolina, NC State, Cincinnati, Penn State and Tennessee. He doesn’t quite have his mind set on which one he’ll choose. Taylor said he’s still yet to visit the latter three. So, much of his focus will be on seeing them this spring and comparing each school for best overall fit.

“I definitely want to get up to the other three when I can,” Taylor said. “It’s got to be somewhere that feels like home to me, that I can develop as a man off the field and on the field, somewhere I’m comfortable being at all times.”
