It’s been a few months since Stebbins (OH) 2024 offensive lineman Jake Wheelock posted his junior highlight film online. But it seems like only until a week ago did college football programs really start to notice it.

Wheelock’s scholarship offer count went from four to 10, as Cincinnati, Duke, Miami (OH), Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and Ball State joined the list. It’s been a bit of validation for Wheelock. But as he waits patiently for others to join, he hasn’t lost sight of the programs who offered early in the process.

“Obviously, 10 offers, that’s a huge statement,” Wheelock said. “It’s cool and I’m blessed to have the opportunities. With it, I’m always looking for more, always hungry for more. I’m never gonna settle, but I’m proud of what I can accomplish. Having power five offers, all these schools, I’m thankful for them and loving the process, with six this week. It’s been awesome.”
