Virginia Tech added three wide receivers in the transfer portal, two of whom have multiple years remaining. With the additions of Ali Jennings (1 year), Da’Quan Felton (2 years) and Jaylin Lane (2 years), the Hokies should have a more complete and competitive wide receiver room next season.

Ali Jennings (6-2, 195) is the transfer that I would say has the best chance to start immediately. In fact, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t start. He’s not quite as big as Kaleb Smith (6-2, 222), but he’s close to a like-for-like replacement when it comes to the deep ball.
