1) In your Top Prospects article on Virginia Tech football, you listed LB Jaden Keller, TE Dae’Quan Wright, and LB Keli Lawson as your top three prospects. How do you feel about those ratings six months later, and how much are you kicking yourself for ranking Mansoor Delane 5th? Is there anyone you wish you added to that list in hindsight? – MBHokie90

Chris Coleman: Here’s the Top Prospects article from last summer. Here are my thoughts on each of my top 10…

No. 10, C Jack Hollifield: He played two snaps this past year for a struggling OL. That’s not a good sign, but at the same time, I’m giving offensive players a pass for the 2022 season. How can you fully judge them when Brent Pry has said that Virginia Tech shouldn’t have been running the offense that they tried to run? We’ll find out about Hollifield over the course of the next year.

No. 9, WR Christian Moss: Moss made some nice plays for Virginia Tech in September but then disappeared. I’m not particularly concerned. Everybody develops at a different rate, and he didn’t start playing football until later in high school, so he’s raw. Andre Davis only caught five passes for 83 yards as a redshirt freshman before blowing up as a redshirt sophomore. The natural ability is there; it will come down to development.
