Duke Study: A Tough Matchup For Virginia Tech

Here are highlights from last year’s Virginia Tech-Duke game…and also a highlight from FSU-Miami for whatever reason:

Things have changed just a little bit since then. New head coach Mike Elko has been on a steady career climb, with every new team improving with him on the staff. Duke has been no different. Elko is a big believer in making sure his players are football-smart, so in that sense Duke is a good promotion.

The Duke Offense

Riley Leonard (QB, #13) is a decent passer and a good runner. He’s not the beneficiary of defenses focusing elsewhere and allowing him to sneak out on a scramble or keeper or two. Defenses key on him so much, sometimes the backs get forgotten. Check these out:
