Virginia Tech has wins over two teams (BC and Wofford) that are 3-11 combined (3-9 when not playing VT). The Hokies have lost three games to teams with losing records (ODU, WVU, Miami) who are 9-12 combined (6-12 when not playing VT). Tech’s other two losses are to a middling Pitt team and a UNC team whose record is finally living up to its recruiting rankings.
