Today, we’ll look at the Virginia Tech scholarship numbers as we approach National Signing Day on Wednesday. During these days of guys entering the transfer portal on nearly a constant basis, and recruits committing and decommitting left and right, it can be very difficult to keep up with the numbers. This is my best effort at showing you what the numbers look like at this point in time: approximately 3 PM on Monday, December 13, 2021.

I’m assuming that the players who went through the Senior Day ceremonies will not be returning for 2022, even though they are technically eligible to do so thanks to the COVID year in 2020. Throwing them out, along with the early NFL entrants and those who have already entered the transfer portal, let’s take a look at Virginia Tech’s roster heading into Signing Day to see exactly what the Hokies have at each position. If a player did not go through Senior Day or they have not declared for the draft/portal, then they are included in this article.
