Fourteen months ago, I wrote an article about how important the next eighteen months were for Justin Fuente. It was called For Justin Fuente, 18 Important Months Lie Ahead.
The article struck a nerve. It received 130 comments, the eighth-most all time in our article database, which contains 13,885 pieces. It rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but it also just spurred a lot of conversation about where the program (and Fuente) were in mid-2019.
If you’re good at math, or just mediocre at it, you realize that an article written fourteen months ago about the next eighteen months leaves four months on the clock; now through the end of December. Quite a bit has changed since I wrote that article, but I still think it’s worth some review and commentary.
