At some point, it becomes exhausting for some recruits when the scholarship offers keep coming in. And for some, they quit counting.

Not Peters Township (Pa.) safety Donovan McMillon. He’s kept tabs of each of them, 54 by his count.

There’s no official list of favorites, but McMillon does concede that he has five schools standing out a bit more. While he’s unable to interact in-person with college coaches due to the current NCAA recruiting dead period, he’s in the process of taking visits to see each of those five. Since the beginning of last week, McMillon visited Texas A&M, Florida, then Virginia Tech on Sunday. Over the next few weeks, he’ll see Oklahoma and Oregon as he gets closer to reaching a final decision of where he’ll play and attend college.
