While he wasn’t able to make the campus visits he’d hoped to this spring because of the pandemic, St. Peter’s Prep (NJ) three-star quarterback Tahj Bullock still knew he had to see one school in particular. This past weekend, he and his parents made the trek south to Blacksburg to see Virginia Tech for the first time. After taking a day to think about it, Bullock said he told the coaches he was on board with the Hokies’ 2021 class. Bullock announced his decision this afternoon on social media.

“I built a great relationship with the staff,” he said. “I think it was probably the visit. I enjoyed it, my parents enjoyed it. I love the atmosphere up there, definitely feels comfortable, a place I feel like I can grow as a man, as a player.”

Because of the current NCAA recruiting dead period that’s been extended through July, football programs and coaches are unable to interact in-person with recruits. But Bullock said he found a way to get as full of a visit experience as possible, which aided in his decision.
