Marco Lee
Running Back
Coffeyville Community College
Home town: Columbus, GA
5-11, 225

247: 3-star, No. 47 JUCO Prospect, No. 3 JUCO Running Back
Rivals: 2-star
ESPN: 3-star, No. 30 JUCO Prospect, No. 1 JUCO Running Back

JUCO tailback Marco Lee is one of many new tailbacks that new running backs coach Adam Lechtenberg will have at his disposal this season.  The running back room will look a lot different this year, and there will be a wider array of options.

Rivals doesn’t seem to have put much research into Lee, probably just deferring to his offer list (VT is his only listed offer) and giving him a 2-star rating as a result.  But as we know, JUCO guys don’t have extensive offer lists.  Jerod Evans was the top JUCO QB back in 2016, but he had only three Power 5 offers despite the fact that he played the most important position on the field.  247 ranks Lee as the No. 3 JUCO running back, and ESPN ranks him as the No. 1 JUCO prospect at his position.

If you’re wondering how that compares, here are the last two No. 1 ranked JUCO running backs by ESPN and what they did in their first year in college…

2019 Rhamondre Stevenson, Oklahoma: 64 carries, 515
