Next Wednesday, as the majority of high school senior football players announce their intentions and sign their letters of intent with the schools of their choice, Fort Bend Bush (TX) defensive end Clinton Anokwuru will be watching. Anokwuru is in the process of getting to the point of a commitment, but he’ll need more time.

Anokwuru was committed to Texas Tech from late June until mid-October. Having already been through the process once, he’s being more calculated this time. That includes an official visit this weekend.

“I don’t want to be the guy to rush a decision,” Anokwuru said. “I’ve already made that mistake. I want to make sure wherever I go, it’s for the next four or five years.”
