As most twins do, Blythewood (SC) 2021 three-star wide receiver Joshua Burrell has always felt a deep connection with his twin brother, three-star athlete Jordan Burrell. They’ve grown up close friends, and even in the recruiting process, they’ve done nearly everything together, including traveling to games and camps.

Joshua, Rivals.com’s No. 59 wide receiver and No. 3 player in South Carolina for 2021, has 15 offers, most recently from Georgia Tech. Only one school has offered both, which happens to be the only offer for Jordan: Virginia Tech. The brothers are hopeful they’ll be able to play collegiately for the same team.

“I’d say growing up, our dream has been to play college football together, be at a D-I school and play together,” Joshua said. “I wouldn’t say it’s a deal breaker (if both aren’t offered). I’m not sure its 100 percent, but it’s a high percentage that we want to play together. Just knowing they offered us both, it’s pretty cool.”
