Virginia Tech will head to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational beginning on Monday, so this break in the action seems like a good time to talk about what we’ve seen from Mike Young’s team so far.
Teaching An Old Dog New Tricks
I wrote on Tuesday that Mike Young is more comfortable using a traditional lineup, with a normal power forward and a traditional center. He confirmed what I said after Wednesday night’s victory over Delaware State.
“I wish I had two big ones down there that I could throw the ball down to. We don’t get fouled enough. We don’t have the opportunity to throw it down to the block and see how we play it. That’s how I’m most comfortable playing.”
Sponsored: @HokiesWrestling is having a great season so far, and the future looks incredibly bright.
You can make it even brighter by supporting the SERTC, and assisting in attracting the best recruits in the nation to Blacksburg!
