Virginia Tech football held its final scrimmage of the preseason this past weekend, and the coaching staff is beginning to narrow down the depth chart in preparation for Boston College. Outside of a potential change to the offensive line depth chart, we don’t have anything new to report this week, so we’ll talk about that, as well as what the Hokies’ home schedule could mean this season.

2016: Colt Pettit starting at left guard over Wyatt Teller in an effort to get Teller more focused.
2017: Kyle Chung started at right tackle over Tyrell Smith after Smith appeared to be the favorite.
