The feeling was already sort of there. But there was one point on Saturday, during Greenback (TN) three-star defensive lineman Derrell Bailey’s visit for Virginia Tech’s Blacksburg Bash barbecue, that he knew he was ready to make a decision.
It came when Bailey rode a golf cart on a tour of campus. During that 30-minute stretch, Bailey said he knew he wanted to commit to the Hokies. On Sunday, he made that decision public.
