The commute has been a bit taxing. 2020 four-star running back Blake Corum attends school at St. Frances (Md.), in Baltimore. He lives, however, in Fauquier County, Va.           

Monday through Thursday, even this summer, Corum lives in Baltimore, at a house with other football teammates. On Friday, he heads back to his home in northern Virginia for the weekend. During that time in Maryland, Corum works out and trains individually and with his teammates.           

It’s a back and forth trek that has been tiring, even grueling at times, but that time away from home is one that could pay dividends for Corum, who is No. 193 in the 2020 Rivals250. He has 19 offers, with more likely coming his way. This weekend, he took his only in-depth visit of the summer. It sheds some light on his recruitment, but could also just be only the beginning.
