1) Which pre-Fuente VT players would have thrived the most in Fuente’s system? If you had to pick a starting offense of pre-Fuente VT players to play in his system, who’s on your squad? – wansapana

QB: Michael Vick (duh)
RB: Ryan Williams
WR: Andre Davis
WR: Antonio Freeman
Slot WR: Eddie Royal
TE/H-back: Jeff King
LT: Duane Brown
LG: Wyatt Teller
C: Jim Pyne
RG: Matt Lehr
RT: Eugene Chung
Chung was before my time, so I’m selecting him just on the basis that he was a first round pick. Those other guys were good enough that they would be good enough for any offensive system we could run. The two in that lineup who would benefit the most would be Michael Vick and Eddie Royal. Despite Vick’s success at Tech, his numbers weren’t huge and considering Royal’s long NFL career, it’s probably fair to say that he wasn’t as productive in Tech’s old offense as he would have been in Justin Fuente’s as a slot receiver.
Any of those guys receivers would have benefited, really. Andre Davis is the fastest player I’ve ever seen...
