1) What football position group will surprise us the most come fall and why? – NCHokie1

Chris Coleman: I’ll go with the wide receivers. Perhaps this is just me being naïve, or perhaps being a bit of a fanboy, but I have complete faith in this staff’s abilities to utilize their talent. There won’t be any square pegs in round holes. We might not have great depth at wide receiver, but I believe this offensive staff will get the most out of the wide receivers they do have.

They’ve got a very nice starting point with Isaiah Ford. He’s on pace to be Virginia Tech’s all-time leading receiver. He had a great true sophomore season last year, and most guys who develop into good players really start to peak in their third year in the program. This is his third year.
