Today we’ll further examine the depth of the offensive line, Yosuah Nijman‘s chances of playing this year, what Kyle Chung‘s return could do to Tyrell Smith’s redshirt status, and look into the future at the potential two-deep for 2016.

The starting offensive line group hasn’t changed. Here they are:

LT Jonathan McLaughlin (6-5, 310, Jr.)
LG Wyatt Teller (6-6, 295, r-So.)
C Eric Gallo (6-2, 293, So.)
RG Augie Conte (6-6, 297, r-Jr.)
RT Wade Hansen (6-5, 300, r-Sr.)

That group is doing a nice job together, and that lineup is not going to change at all unless someone sustains an injury. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen, because I believe that group of players is going to be much improved over what we had a season ago.

What remains unclear is how the backup situation will play out. From what I could tell, this was the most often used backup lineup this past Saturday…

LT Yosuah Nijman (6-6, 265, Fr.)
LG Parker Osterloh (6-8, 343, r-So.)
C Colt Pettit (6-3, 291, r-Fr.)/Tyrell
