Today we’ll continue our scouting reports with a look at defensive end Darius Fullwood.

Darius Fullwood
Height: 6-4
Weight: 240
247: 3-stars, #30 weakside DE, #14 player in Maryland
Rivals: 4-stars, #22 strongside DE, #9 player in Maryland
ESPN: 3-stars, #43 DE, #11 player in Maryland

Darius Fullwood originally picked Kentucky over a group of finalists that included the Hokies, Duke and Maryland.  The SEC was a big factor in his decision.  However, Aaron Moorehead never gave up, and Tech was able to flip him a few months later because of their location and a strong defensive tradition.

Fullwood was a big pickup for one simple reason: he’s a defensive end.  End was one of the biggest needs of the 2015 class, and Charley Wiles needs guys who have the ability to play as either true freshmen in 2015 or r-freshmen in 2016.

Size and frame: Fullwood has good size already, and he has the frame to be
