Attendance figures, and the best jobs in the ACC

Seven ACC teams saw their attendance drop this year, while seven ACC teams saw their attendance increase. Here’s how the Hokies stacked up with the other programs around the league.

Florida State: 82,211, +9%
Clemson: 80,176, -2%
Virginia Tech: 61,157, -4%
UNC: 54,667, +6%
NC State: 54,398, +2%
Louisville: 52,972, +<1%
Miami: 52,518, -2%
Georgia Tech: 48,519, -1%
Pitt: 41,315, -17%
Syracuse: 40,447, +6%
UVA: 39,320, -15%
Boston College: 34,270, +4%
Duke: 27,291, +5%
Wake: 27,210, -4%

Despite having their attendance drop by 4%, Virginia Tech is still in third place in the ACC in average attendance, and they are nearly seven thousand ahead of UNC and NC State. Tech’s drop of 4% matches the national average.
