Connecticut, Creighton, Tennessee, Virginia Tech. Barring a change of heart, Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA) senior small forward Chris Clarke will sign with one of these four schools during Division 1 men’s basketball’s Early Signing Period, which takes place November 12 through November 19.

“The plan is for him to be an early signee,” Cape Henry Collegiate head coach Mark Hall said of the 6’5″, 190-pound Clarke, a consensus 4-star recruit.

“I definitely think he had a good time,” Hall said of Clarke, who will visit Tennessee this coming weekend. “He and his family enjoyed the visit. They were impressed with the facilities and the staff, and he had an opportunity to see what Tech does.”

New Hokies head coach Buzz Williams has “really made it known to the community and to the Clarke family what his vision is for Virginia Tech. He has done a good job of letting Chris know he is a priority for them.”

U-Conn is of course the reigning national champion. Of the Huskies, Coach Hall said: “The whole staff is primarily from U-Conn. [Associate head coach Glen] Miller has done an outstanding job. [Head coach Kevin] Ollie then came in and did a good job.”
