Searels emerges as OL coach candidate

Stacy Searels has emerged as a strong candidate to replace Jeff Grimes as Virginia Tech’s offensive line coach.

For those of you who play attention to Twitter, Kyle Bailey of CBS Sports Radio 107.1 reported that there are three finalists for the job: Searels, former Wisconsin offensive line coach Bob Bobstad, as well as Frank Verducci, who has spent a lot of time at major colleges as well as the NFL.

However, Andy Bitter of the Roanoke Times indicated that his sources said that Verducci and Bobstad did not emerge as serious candidates.
