Virginia Tech still has some recruiting to do on the offensive side of the ball, particularly at wide receiver and on the offensive line.

Virginia Tech finished their quarterback recruiting over the weekend with Pennsylvania signal caller Andrew Ford .  Ford is an Elite 11 quarterback who only came into the picture recently.  The Hokies have need for just one quarterback in this class, and Ford is that guy.

Running Back

Commits: Marshawn Williams

Other Targets: Shai McKenzie , Caleb Kinlaw , Derrell Scott , Donte Thomas-Williams

The Hokies are set at running back recruiting in this class with Marshawn Williams in the fold.  Williams is a very physical runner with a good burst, though he lacks breakaway speed.  However, they would likely take another running back in this class if they can land someone they are very high on.

Shai McKenzie of Washington, PA currently has Tech #4 on his list behind Florida State, Pitt and Georgia Tech.  He plans to visit for the July 13 camp.  He has the Hokies #4 despite the fact that he hasn’t visited as of yet.  If he has a good visit next month, Tech will have a great chance to move up.
