Though he hasn’t officially narrowed his list of schools, 6-3, 180-pound wide receiver recruit Deion Walker says there are about “14 or 15” schools that he is still seriously considering. Virginia and Virginia Tech remain in serious consideration and Walker hopes to visit both programs this summer.

“They are both in there,” Walker said, referring to Virginia and Virginia Tech. “I am worried about the amount that Tech and UVa throw the ball. I know UVa has plans to open up the offense. With Tech, I’m worried about that.”

Thanks to a conversation with Virginia Tech incoming freshman quarterback Tyrod Taylor, Virginia Tech is a program being taken more seriously.
