Salem (Virginia Beach, VA) defensive lineman Chima Okoli will have a decision by Friday. The 6-5, 270-pound prospect is down to Penn State and Virginia Tech and is looking forward to choosing one of those programs in the coming days.
“It’ll be by [Friday],” Okoli said of his decision. “I have one more meeting with my father and my coach. I’ll get both sides.”
Okoli called the next meeting with his father and his coach “vital” to his final decision. He did not indicated whether one of the two schools had gained an edge.
“This is a whole lot tougher than I thought it would be,” Okoli said.
This month, the talented three-star recruit has made official visits to Virginia Tech and Penn State, respectively. Though the decision is tough, he is looking forward to making it.
“I’m absolutely looking forward getting it overwith,” Okoli said. “On one hand, I like the attention. On the other hand, I want it to be over.”
Stay tuned, as Okoli’s decision will come within the next two days.
