TSL has added highlight clips to the recruiting card of 6-1 1/2, 200-pound Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA) linebacker Quillie Odom. Odom, who was the first player to commit to Tech in the 2007 recruiting class, played middle linebacker last season as a junior for the Yellow Jackets.
Despite playing most of the season with a broken right arm, Odom racked up 72 tackles on the year and earned first-team all-Cedar Run district honors and all-Northwest region honors for his performance.
“He did a great job his junior season,” Osbourn Park head coach Brian Beaty said. “He basically runs the middle of our defense and did a great job running it. He runs all over the field. He broke a bone in one of his arms early in the year, so he played with a cast most of the season. I just can’t say enough about him. He was great for us last year.”
Odom is being recruited by Virginia Tech to play the Backer position.
