Highland Springs (VA) linebacker Jarrell Miller , rated a 4-star prospect and the #4 overall recruit in the state, has set three official visits. Miller cut his list to 12 before the start of his senior season and has since gotten down to around seven schools.

“He has visits set to Tennessee for October 8th, Virginia Tech for November 5th and UVA for November 12th,” Highland Springs head coach Scott Burton said. “Beyond that, it looks like it is Maryland, UNC, Miami, and Florida vying for the last two visits.”

There are no clear favorites at this point for Miller, who has tallied over 20 Division 1A scholarship offers.

The 6-3, 235-pound Miller mans the middle linebacker position for the Springers, who are off to a 2-1 start in 2005. Miller opened the season with a 13-tackle performance in a 12-10 victory over Woodbridge. Highland Springs, which defeated Mills Godwin last week by a score of 21-9, faces Atlee tonight.
