6-0, 220-pound tailback Brandon Minor, the 4-star prospect out of Varina High School, has set three of his official visits.
“He has scheduled visits to Michigan on December 2nd, Miami on December 16th and Virginia Tech on January 14th,” Varina assistant coach Blanda Wolfe said via e-mail. “He is still deciding on his other two visits.”
Rated the #6 overall prospect in the state by Techsideline.com, Minor rushed for one touchdown (2 yards) and caught another (43 yards) in Varina’s season opening 46-13 win over Gar-Field last Friday. As a junior last season, he rushed 196 times for 2,091 yards and scored 32 touchdowns.
In addition to the three programs above, Florida, LSU and Ohio State are some of the other programs still in contention for Minor. All have offered.
